For sale is my 2015 Ram Sport with 57,000 miles. I am the sole owner. This truck has been garage kept and in great condition. 75% of the miles are highway. Have a second car that I drive most of the time. Very rarely towed anything. After market Extras include bedrug bed liner, HID headlights...
Most of the local repair shops around here won't even touch R1234yf so you can bet it's a bad idea for the DIY. I had to go to my dealer to charge it, they are the only ones that would.
Hopefully this AC condenser trick can save people from replacing the whole condenser. Condenser...
Update. I did the O-ring trick and so far so good. The Dealer hadn't heard of this fix but was willing to try. He only warned me that if it ended up leaking back out it would be another $200 to charge the AC.
There really aren't any symptoms but warm air blowing. I took it to the dealer and they told me all the Freon had leaked out so they pressure tested it with a dye and found the leak at that spot. There was nothing visible to me when I was looking at it.
Apparently on my 2015 Sport the A/C Condenser sprung a leak :nono: I'm going to replace it myself but will have to bring to the dealer to recharge with the stupid 1234YF refrigerant since they are the only ones that will work with that stuff. Just wondering if anyone knew any write ups or...
I like the SRT10 style rims and want to put those on my 2015 sport. I like the Black Rhino Tembe but also like the OEM style. Both are below. Which one for the win? Also, Gloss or Matte black?
I see Diode Dynamics is coming out with a new LED, the SL1. They are claiming some good things. I asked Jeremy at Retroshop what he thinks and he said he just dropped a Ram off at Diode to see how they compare to HID.
So maybe I'm missing something but if 4x4 "lock" isn't engaged all the time what is the difference between auto and lock? It's been said that in auto the transfer case is engaged but the clutch packs aren't engaged. So...what's the difference?
I've been running 89 since day one because the owner manual recommends it. I'm guessing you'll get slightly better mileage and power with 89 over 87 since the computer is programmed for it. Whether it's enough to tell a difference I don't know.
1. No telescoping steering wheel. Us short armed persons suffer.
2. No memory seats even with a loaded sport with leather
3. Headliner rattle around the sunroof. Whole headliner replaced under warranty, we'll see if it stays quiet.
4. No option to turn on backup camera unless in reverse...
On the sunroof rattle...it's caused because the velcro that holds the headliner around the sunroof sucks and the headliner becomes unhooked. I had the exact same problem. Took it to the dealer and they replaced the entire headliner under warranty. I don't know if that will fix the problem...
Great info. This hopefully should help people with the 3.21/3.92 decision. I know I did a lot of research to figure out which one to get when I ordered my truck and got the 3.21. For most people who don't tow huge loads or love to go really fast really quick in their truck, it doesn't really...
Well in the 1500 they don't offer a 4.10 or 4.56 so you don't even have that choice. They offer a 3.92 or a 3.21. 3.92 will have more oomph off the line and another 2000 lb towing capacity but 3.21 will get better mileage by maybe 1 - 2 mpg. Totally up to you. I have the 3.21 in my Sport...
