Free Spin Kit?
I could see a use for it. Recently towed our 5th wheel to the mountains and the road going into and thru the campground was very steep and narrow...it sure would have been nice to use 4lo without the front hubs locked it- Swampfox

4wd shift in progress
No it is not actually shifting....it has done it randomly since the truck was new but now it's happening more and more often....i can barely set my hand on the shifter in the truck and it will show the message- Swampfox

I keep getting a 4wd shift in progress message while driving. It mainly happens when I got over bumps in the road. It is more prevalent when I'm towing or when I have my tire pressure set to the factory 60/80. I usually run 50psi all the way around. It seems like there is a micro switch bad or...- Swampfox

Sounds like your trying to figure out a way to make it work or convince yourself it would be fine but you know it's too much. Have you thought about a class A motor home? Your whole family could ride in comfort and tow your truck behind even put a golf cart in the bed.- Swampfox

According to the "advertised" weights of that 5th wheel it comes out to 19.5%. I know the dry weights can be misleading but the percentage should relatively stay the same. I think you could tow it but there is a big difference between 7 or 8 trips a year and full timing. You could probably do it...- Swampfox

It's a pretty awesome floorplan...i have not seen one quite like it.. have you seen one in person? Sometimes it's not the same when you actually get inside it....what I'm getting at is if you know that's the one you want why dont you just get the dealer to order you one with all the options you...- Swampfox

I want the wireless one as well but I have it about figured out... hook up 5th wheel and air up to 40psi and roll on and it works well. That being said there have been a few times I wish I could adjust it going down the road not to mention the convenience of not having to break out the...- Swampfox

99% of the people not "happy" with them either do not or never have owned one. A buddy of mine recommended it to me and he tows a 43ft 22000lb toy hauler and the Andersen has work for him for thousands of miles....all the proof I needed- Swampfox

I OWN IT! LOVE IT! It can be mounted in the truck bed either way as well as the adapter for the king pin can be mounted forward or aft. I have a short bed truck and can make 90 degree turns all day long- Swampfox

Bummed out!! Truck can't tow what I need her to.
Check out the Cougar 336bhs...pretty sure it would work weight wise...i have a 337fls it basically the same 5th wheel as mine but different floorplan- Swampfox

I run 80 rear 60 front when towing unloaded I run 50 front 45 rear and they wear great....same specs on both tires MT VS. RT. so I would run them at max when towing 80 rear 60 front- Swampfox

Just a few thoughts about different "manufacturers". None of them manufacture anything really. Only a few different makers of components such as refrigerators, a/c, oven/stove, microwave, ect..... some do have better insulation and construction of walls and roofs and layouts.
