5.2 to 5.9 swap
There really isn’t much of a power difference it will change because of the difference in the way power is transferred between the manual and auto trans but if you put a little bit of money into the 5.9 before you drop it in you can make some decent power for cheap. 6.4 Power Steering
I would suggest you pick up the front end of your truck and let it run for 5 to 10 minutes while you turn the wheel lock to lock. Any air in the system should clear itself out by that point.
