    New motor recommendation

That is pretty cool! But Good Lord the work that goes into changing cams is extensive! Arrrrg! I was not anticipating this expense, but we love our Ram!

    New motor recommendation

The hemi ran solid until a year ago it started coding various things and ticking fairly loud in the valve train. Sorry, what is MMX and FRP MDS delete mean?

    New motor recommendation

Watched a video on how to replace the cam, and hell, might as well drop a new engine in with all that work! But substantially cheaper.

    New motor recommendation

Well, my 2013 5.7 hemi has a rounded cam lobe. What are your thoughts? Install a new cam and lifters or a whole new engine? The old one has 134,000 miles and was running great until this issue started. #7 misfire code. New plugs and coil didn't fix. If a new engine is installed we're looking at...

P0307 Code with new plugs and coil pack?

I got the P0307 #7 cylinder misfire error. I already install me plugs and there are no plug wires so I installed a new coil pack. Code went way but I was still getting a ping on the drivers side in one of the cylinders. Then it started sputtering and running crappy again and the same code showed...

    Anyone running without engine cover

Maybe limits a bit of throttle noise? I'm taking mine off all the same. Looks better too.

Bed rail covers for the 5' 3" bed?

Anyone have a source for bed rail covers for the 5' 7" shorty? All I seem to find online is for the longer beds. And MAN have they come up in price! FJB and his "economics"!

    Anyone running without engine cover

Maybe they force airflow up and over to the backside?

    Anyone running without engine cover

I noticed mine has a nice section chewed away too. Little ******* bedded into the passenger side framing too. I'm going to just remove it and see how things run. Unlikely there will be any differnce other than maybe hearing the intake a bit more.

Hemi tick - injectors or lifters?

I just replaced the short runner valve motor, throttle body, map sensor, spark plugs and passenger side exhaust manifold. Not all that bad of a project, though a pain in the ass with some of the annoying red clips breaking on coil packs and injectors. So the trouble codes are now all gone. But I...

Passengre side water dripping with air conditioning on

I don't think you have to do that. The shop had it for a very short period to fix ours. Hopefully it isn't a cracked connection.

Passengre side water dripping with air conditioning on

The repair guy forgot to put on the upper hose clamp and the air conditioning condensation drain water found its way down inside. Start with the hoses that attach to the firewall and then look up inside behind the glove box to see if there is a hose connection there too.

Tailgate cover to go over dented top spoiler area

Thanks Don. I'll work it over a bit more with a little heat gun warmth and see how far I can tap it out. The whole deck trim package needs replacement in the spring so I'll keep shopping.

Tailgate cover to go over dented top spoiler area

Thanks for the link wallacemf. That is an OEM part. I need something that is wider down the gate face. See photo of my idiot maneuver on the gate dent. I was able to tap this out to almost gone, but it still shows up a bit.

Midwestj, I guess we are on our own here.

Tailgate cover to go over dented top spoiler area

I've looked high and low for a replacement spoiler type tailgate cover but can't find one that fits my 2013 Ram 1500. I see them on GMC Sierras all the time but can't find a manufacturer, I've searched the net and only find the standard OEM replacements that don't go down over the wide spoiler...

    Service Trailer System code

We bought what appeared to be a very nice well maintained 2013 Ram 1500. Drove it for one day and now have several codes showing up. No noticeable driving issues other than the cruise control won't work because of one of the codes. Seems like the brake switch might be the issue as I noticed when...

Code Help - Service Trailer System warning

I ran my code checker and get a P0572 Brake Switch "A" Circuit Low, and U0418-00 Invalid data received from anti-lock brake system (ABS) control module "A": no sub type information. And a P0205 Cylinder 5 injector "A" circuit. This could be one of many things but first thought seems a ground...

Passengre side water dripping with air conditioning on

I took it into the shop since it was a warrantee fix. Sure enough, Gomer didnt put the hose clamp on correctly.

Passengre side water dripping with air conditioning on

I pulled off the trim piece under the glove box and do not see where the water could be coming from. I climbed underneath and see water running down the firewall and frame to drip on the ground. Is there supposed to be an actual hose?

Passengre side water dripping with air conditioning on

Where does the hose connect? Right under the glove box?

Passengre side water dripping with air conditioning on

Well, the used Ram 1500 we recently bought needed the air conditioner fixed before we agreed to the purchase. The dealer repaired that, but yesterday I was in the passenger seat while my wife was driving and a stream of cold water flowed out onto my feet from under the glove box area. Any ideas...

Engine was quite but after air conditioning repair very noisy

Thanks guys! So it has not made this sounds again. Maybe the fan clutch needed a little break in period. I'll have some time this weekend to pop the hood and take a closer look after we drive it a couple hundred miles.
