Yep. Pain in the ass for sure...Had my truck a year now and still no update on that....seems like a silly oversight when they had it right in your 2012 and my 15Challenger & 2015 Durango.
my Durango used to do that but a bit worse...I bought it used and the former service department I went to was the pitts...Like the other said...take it to the dealer and have it documented. Personally I wouldn't go for that nonsense and I'd insist they're replaced if it's an ongoing thing...Good...
I'm not so sure you can't do the same or better right next door...We have a few big boys on the East coast as well...Falls Motor City in Ohio is good to deal with on a truck, not DD big but I'd bet if you can find apples to apples they'll match it or save you a cross country trip and get aweful...
You'll know if this is the culprit by coming to a stop after the truck is in gear and then hitting your seat preset button. When I would do that it would change my station. I still have not researched how to let the truck 'learn' my key fob should always be seat memory 1 and that will carry the...
Keep in mind that feature is something you can turn off. I wouldn't use it often either but with the hardware in place its just a matter of a switch and programming. Now if they had the lights under the mirrors engineered to work with the mirrors folded in then it would make it a bit more useful...
This is the button that you should have if you have keyless entry, push it to lock. The back of the handle where you place your hand (hidden) should have a black rectangle that is the touch pad for unlocking the doors. Both front doors should have that setup. There is a setting in the uconnect...
Look at his picture above: notice his thumb is on that 'larger' diameter piece; just slide a small flat head over top of the larger diameter piece but under the smaller piece and it will pop up like a Turkey thermometer. Once you have it popped up the entire clip will come out.
Noticed that also. I'd say if you intend on actually using those tie downs it's a nice feature. I don't see myself using them enough to cut a hole in the mat. I'd probably just fold it back for the once in a lifetime use in my case.
Talking to a dude at the dealership the other day he said the new Wrangler's with a manual have stop/start! He said when you grab the clutch from a stop it fires up as soon as you touch the clutch. No way I could get use to that...
Yea I think it would be nice as well. Been on 20k KIA's for a while now, haha. Granted, my power fold mirrors have been effed up since I got my truck and we're still playing games. I know it's a pretty standard feature for cars; I wonder if any trucks have the feature?
Fortunately we don't need to use opinions on this stuff these days. Tire Rack and Consumer reports both have pretty excellent tire programs that differ slightly but it's good to get a mix from reputable sources. There's some good stuff out there about price vs grip at the end of the tire...
pretty sure it does recommend 89...I run 87 all the time and runs smooth as silk. I'd be curious to know the reason they recommend but not require. Emissions or carbon build up in the motor or do they just give you a few more ponies on the high end? My 6speed challenger requires the primo and...
I've had a lot of cars with 'leather' and one thing I've taken away is they are not all created equal and leather isn't usually leather. I'm 6'2, 200lbs and my seats still look brand new. I'm OCD to the definition of the word. If you're a little height challenged or tend to slide your ass across...
No e-locker on my laramie but it's all lit up down there...white backlit letters and the amber light above to show which selection is active. Have you played with the dimmer switch/interior lighting at night to see if that does anything?
I'd say that fits the bill here also with the exception of the 'new' ram...I see the 4th gen a lot and you can't swing a dead cat without hitting an F-150
$550 for factory wheel-to-wheel boards sounds like a pretty good deal to me...I bought Romik Rof-t boards from autoanything during a black Friday thing. I've purchased a lot of stuff from them but they don't have OEM accessories. I like autoanything just because they price match for like a year...
mine squeaks also. I have the bench seat. To my eye it looks like the part of leather/vinyl on the arm rest is rubbing on the 'fixed' portion that houses the cup holders. So like a leather to leather rubbing that causes the squeak. Since I'm guessing it's vinyl coated or synthetic that might be...
I had a 'switch' replaced and it did not solve my issue. Driver side mirror whistles and the service manager said it's a characteristic of the design...FCA even wanted me to go to another stealership as opposed to having this jabroni do his job and honor the warranty. Still fighting with them...
I usually leave it on 4wd auto. If it's nice weather and I know I'm not going to need it I leave it in 2WD in the Summer months. I've noticed that when I have the windows down on a nice day and its in AUTO I hear some kind of mechanical/electronic actuation or something that clicks and ticks...
Doesn't bother me but it highlights that it was a bad decision IMHO based on the way it has not caught on entirely after a decade. The fact that most sites refer to it as a DODGE is telling also..Bad decision strictly from a brand recognition standpoint...they're laughing all the way to the bank...
