Exhaust valve question
I am disassembling an 05 -5.7 and removed the passenger side exhaust manifold. I noticed what looked like undercut exhaust valves on the number two and number eight ports, but the two center ports= the stem was straight all the way down. Thanks to some major help from my amazing wife, the grenaded 5.7 is now out of my 05 2500.I bought a wrecked 05-1500 with a good 5.7 in it. Rebuilding a tired 5.7- cheapest way to more cubic inches?
I recently bought a 170k miles 03-5.7. Was told it"ran when parked" Lol. It's tight, it will turn, but barely.
