    Update!! I finally got ahold of Hemi Fever. We spent most of the day yesterday getting this thing lined out. She’s purring and shifting like a kitten now!! I’m so stoked!! Finally! Sean was extremely patient and super helpful and I couldn’t be happier!

    I bought an unlocked one from Diablo.. Supposedly it’s not compatible with HP.. ‍♂️

    Contacted him also.. It’s my understanding HP is the best route to go, but I’d have to send my pcm off, and blah blah.. $1500 later, another tune.. It may be my last resort though.

    I wish I could find one.. I contacted Texas speed. Told them my whole situation, excluding the Greene part, until they asked who I used. The moment I told them, they ghosted me. I messaged hemifever, no response. I’m at a loss. I’ve even debated learning tuning myself, I just don’t care enough...

    The tune he gave me, I loaded up, and my truck wouldn't even stay running. I contacted him and told him, he wouldn’t get back with me. I ended up going local because of it.

    All of that has been done. This thread is a couple months in now.. My transmission doesn’t feel like it’s shifting right, and it’s still burning rich..

    As tempting as that is, and I may still do it, I honestly just want the tune I paid for. For years I’ve read people rant and rave about this guys tune. My truck is still not quite running right after having it tuned locally. I really had high hopes of having the infamous “Jay Greene tune”…

    And just it’s known, weeks later, and he still hasn’t tried to remedy the situation at all. I’m glad I could help at least one person steer clear. Go local. There has to be a shop nearby you that tunes/works on high performance cars. Even if it’s an hour or more away. Good luck!

    For the record, Jay did message me after someone told him I left a negative review. He blamed the lack of communication on Covid.. He said he looked over my idle logs. I basically told him I didn’t care, and the whole process with him was painful..

    Yeah.. I’m the rare person who tips people when they are doing a job at my house, 2 days in, because they’re doing great work. They then, don’t show up for 3 weeks , without a single phone call or text to let me know they are swamped, sick, dead.. Whatever. That’s exactly what I’m dealing with...

    Because the local tuner used hptuner, which, from what I understand, isn’t “compatible” with a Diablo unlocked pcm. He had to unlock it for hptuners.. ‍♂️

    He actually emailed me after I left a bad review on his actual Facebook page. Blamed Covid. ‍♂️ That doesn’t negate the entire last 4 months.. Here are the groups, as I hope I’m allowed to do this. It may go against the forum rules. I’m truly sorry if so.

    Thank you for the encouragement. It just sounded like the kid had a lot going for him. It sucks having to share such a negative experience. I was so stoked to run a Jay Greene cam in my truck. Now, I’m looking or replace it asap.. We shall see what the future holds.

    Last thing I want to do is take business from anyone legit, but I feel I was left out to dry. I spent a lot of money , and just wanted to share my personal experience. I would never again go with anyone online for a job this big.

    I truly hate bagging on anyone. It pains me. Reviews are everything to me. I read them thoroughly before purchasing anything. And thank you! I love my truck. I’m detailing it all day tomorrow, including ceramic coat. Hopefully I can get some much better photos..

    So , my truck is finally “finished”… The main reason for the post is out of pure frustration, at not only Jay Greene, but the customer service industry as a whole. I’m going to preface all of this with , I’m not a mechanic. Never claimed to be, never want to be, and I’m doing less and less...
