Parking assist sensors not working
Hello all, I have a '10 3500 Laramie automatic with the Cummins. What do you guys stand on when working under hood?
I like the wrap around milk crate topped with plywood idea. Maybe set it up so it is easily dismantled for storage. Right now I use a single milk crate or short step ladder- SnaefellMan

Gas cap missing?
No cap option may work fine in the city and anywhere else that is paved but where I live vehicles get dirty & muddy just in every day use. I have seen road grime/mud/sand get into unusual places, would not want it settling on the whiz bang spring loaded flap.- SnaefellMan

Did something stupid... how to properly fix?
Another old time method is to put some methyl hydrate in the tank, here in the north, we used to use that as gas line antifreeze. That would be a dangerous assumption. The alcohol that is safe for us to drink is 'taken off" in the distillation process at a specific temperature, anything...- SnaefellMan

All bad news. Let’s here some good stories
Good topic here, thanks for starting it. We have 3 Ram trucks Farm truck '96 2500 w/around 180,000 km, 5.9 gas + auto. Splash guards / mud flaps yah or nah??
Mud flaps are a must to protect your rockers and bottom of rear fenders unless your truck is always on pavement in So. Cal or Az. We build our own running boards & mud flaps out of 16 gauge satin coat steel, then have them powder coated the truck colour.- SnaefellMan
