air charge sender no wiring

Air Charge sender not hooked up?
Hello! I have a 1981 W150 318 5.2l. The thing runs great, but gas mileage is terrible. I just noticed the air charge sender is screwed into the intake manifold, but there is nothing connected to it? Previous owners hacked in a bunch of connections, but there is no loose unplugged wires anywhere...- Timothy Budge
