12 Pin trailer connector

I recently traded my 2019 Ram 1500 in for a 2024 Ram 2500. Instead of the 4 pin trailer connector, I have a 12 pin trailer connector that I've never seen before, and haven't been able to find any information about. Does anyone have any information on this new connector?

My 2024 Ram 2500 Limited (6.7I, 6'4" bed, Rambox, no 5th wheel prep) has both the 12 pin connector 360 surround view camera connector and single camera coax connector in the bumper -- I believe it is ready to accept either the trailer rear-view camera that integrates with the digital mirror, and can accept the 360 surround 4-camera system that integrates with the 12" u-connect screen. Both of these camera systems were options on the Ram Build website but I could not locate a vehicle that included either of these options and still included things that I wanted. So, I had to compromise but now I want to add a camera system to my camper.

Quite a while back, i watched a video that i think was made by Member on this site.

He was showing a 3rd Brake light that had a controllable camera, if i remember correctly, from in the cab, he could raise & lower the camera & maneuver it left & right.

the same type of camera could be put on the rear of a trailer.
I believe there was a Kit with 4 or more cameras in the Kit

Looks to me like your regular 7pin trailer connector is right below the 12 pin. You should have a 7pin to 4pin adapter under your rear seats, in your in-floor storage containers or in the glove box. The 12 pin is for the camera kits.
