I have a 2004.5 RAM with the 5.9 Cummins / auto / 270k miles / 4x4. The truck is stock and will most likely be kept stock. It is used for towing an 8000 lb. trailer and general hauling in the Colorado mountains.
The turbo is getting louder especially when I let off the throttle after acceleration. It also smokes quite a bit on cold temp start ups but that's probably not a turbo issue (??). It passes emissions with flying colors once warmed up.
I am looking at either a Calibrated Power Stealth 64mm drop in turbo or an ATS Aurora 3000 or an HTT TOWRAM 64 and would appreciate opinions on these or any other brands. Thanks in advance!
