I need to know which wires here to jump out to get the seat belt alarm to shut off. i installed powered seats from a 2014 ram 1500 and was able to rig the motors so i can adjust both of them but i cant get the seat belt alarm to connect to the new seat wiring harness so it constantly dings

I was going to say just to remove the chime module, but I believe it is tied with other systems.

Well, the easy way to disable the seat belt minder is with a scan tool. There is a setting in the FCM (Front Control Module) to turn the seat belt minder off. Even the old Superchips FlashPaq had the ability to turn the seat belt minder off. If you don't have access to a scan tool a local shop with a proper scan tool can do it for a small fee I'm sure. If you were near Waxahachie, TX I'd do it for ya.

There is also a way to disable the seat belt minder using the belt and buckle if you have the ability to reconnect the wiring with the old seats. These procedure can be found with a Google search.

Or do you connect the 2 cables to the connecter on the 4th gen seat ?

You can connect them together to complete the circuit or do it the proper way and wire them to the seat belt buckle circuit so the lamp works like it should along with the seat belt minder.

I use a seatbelt extender on my Warlock, and the seatbelt now appears to be always attached.

If I should choose to sell my truck someday, I just release the extender, and it becomes stock again.
