A friend has a 2017 1500 Ram Hemi.
His AC compressor is on all the time.
He bought the front bezel with the ac control and it was not that.
Now looking for a relay some say the relay is under the PDC relay box and that it might be stuck on.
I put a bypass switch for him so the AC does not run all the time even in cold weather it on and even if you have the heat on single zone compressor is still running until he used the bypass on/off switch.
Is there a way to see if the relay is stuck closed like with a meter. I know its installed on the backside of the relay box.
He has checked all plugs like high and low pressure and all looked good. And he was able to try a known good front Bezel with the ac controls.and still the same AC on all the time.
Has anyone had the problem and did you fix.
Is the AC relay replaceable on the bottom side if i take apart and if I knew the relay part#.
Most aggravating when its warm out and dont need ac and you want just outside air but ac is running.
As you lower the tem from hot to cool with the ac running there is not warm its AC cold air.
