Nick:
Have you ever considered putting up a DIY on beginning to end exterior cleaning, waxing polishing etc. and the order and recommended method to use each of your products along the way?
Just say'n.

Sealants are synthetically engineered products aimed at maximum longevity and should be applied to bare paint as they are formulated to "bond" to your clear coat. Glazes and waxes "surf" on your clear coat and don't last nearly as long as a sealant does.

If you layer a sealant over a wax, the sealant will only last as long as the wax does underneath it.

The general process is:

  • Wash
  • Clay
  • Polish
  • Seal
  • Glaze
  • Wax

Any of the steps can be skipped, but the ones you do perform should be done so in the above order for the best results.

What I posted above is the very basic order of the process and our videos do a much more in-depth job of explaining the order of the processes. Have you checked them out?

Both amazingly strong products. Simple green has nothing on APC!

Not to mention the fact that they'll pay you 10% over what you paid if it doesn't live up to your expectations!

I always buy gallons and I grabbed a gallon of APC (all purpose cleaner) and carpet and upholstery cleaner. APC is the strongest one I've found that's premixed and it smells like lemons! Their carpet and upholstery cleaner isn't soap based so it doesn't attract dirt after the fact and it doesn't foam.
