Anyone here: Upgrading Fuel Tank Question

I ordered a Titan 50 Gallon for my RAM 3500 DRW. Here is the question, will I have to reprogram the computer so it knows that I now have a larger tank than originally came installed in the truck?

If not, I am confused how it would know how to calculate Miles to Empty?

You’d have to reprogram. Otherwise it won’t give you accurate miles to empty. I think most do it with alpha obd.
