I think you'll love it. I drove around town for 2 days with the muffler removed, and other than some annoying resonance from ending under the bed, it sounded fine.

I'm personally somewhat wishing I had gone down this road.

i'm sure its great, but how often do you have inspections where you live? If you don't have connections it would never pass.

our inspections.... dont exist. every 2 years obd test, no check engine light you pass, they hook up to the computer and your good to go. If the cops want to be jerks they could but I would just throw the muffler back on and laugh at them through a real dmv inspection. I figure if a 550 hp srt missing its cats and b+b exhuast never caused a problem I should be good to go.

imo the mufflex parts are un needed, when i was having my exhaust welded there was a '11 hemi that had the mufflex muffler installed and when he was done it sounded the same. he promptly turned around and had them do a complete custom setup once he heard my truck haha

its alot cheaper than a complete cat back which isnt needed. the system in its self is not crimp bent and good sized for stock motors. I wasn't going to pay 500+ for a cat back system which isnt much better than what I have minus the "resonators" and stupid big tips

For me the drawl to mufflex its that it requires no modifications to install...and the 14" kit sounds nothing like stock

Simple solution cut the resos out get a clamp kit welded to it then clamp back in place remove when needed since the tips are bolt on just get a piece of replacement pipe where the resos were
