bilstein 5100 fail on 6"pro comp

Ok I cannot buy the oem spring seats separate. If anyone has a set the want to sell let me know please. I will continue to look on ebay for the time being

I FOUND IT about 7 bucks here is the part number 52038258 and website is RETAINER. Lower, Mounting. Shock Absorber for 2011 DODGE RAM 1500. #52038258 just copy and past if it does not work try googling the part number good luck man i hope this helps you out i have been searching for hours lol it will work for your year as well..

Mr hemi I love your support a day enthusiasm but that's not what i need. That's a retainer for the strut for mounting purposes. I wish u were correct but that's not it. Called 3 places to make sure. It's only sold with the strut I'm afraid of and being told. Thank you sir I have been looking everywhere

Ok I have looked on here, craigslist, parts stores, dodge, and junk yards to no luck finding two front strut spring seats. Ran across these and it looks like it comes with everything needed to raise and level my truck out. It would be cheaper to sell my bilstein 5 100s and buy these instead if buying two struts for spring seats at 260.00. They look really nice and would use max setting just like bils

***** well I guess it all worked out for the better. Got off phone with pro comps main guy. The ss struts are actually the pro runner adjustable and when i flip the spring seat it will give me 2.75 inches of lift. It's the same adjustable strut just when used in lift application it's in stock position. He did warn it will wear out parts and possibly pip ball joints etc. He said the alignment will be maxed out on paper and won't be 100% true. Basically keep an eye on tires. Gonna post new bils up for sale later
