coming along nicely

I appreciate it and it's soon to get that detail that I asked for advice on. It'll all be blended together soon thereafter.

Made a before and after pic of the front end with the mirrors and bumper cover color matched

I have a S2000 bumper to paint for a guy and I will clear coat everything all at once so I'll be hitting that hard tonight I think but the center console will be started tonight possibly not sure yet. Have to see what the weather does and how I feel after work today.

The stock exhaust has been removed to make way for the custom system. Cut it a ft before the stock muffler

Yeah but being the V6 it has kind of a ricer sound in the higher RPM band

Beefier shaft? Well that sounds weird lol

Haha no custom length had 1.5" added to accommodate my 4" rear lift my slip yoke had moved out a tad so it was causing vibrations above 40mph.

Did however get my tails in today. The replacements had come in so got them all wired up and they all work great.

Yep gives it a lil more umph if you know what I mean but the one in it is just a cheap eBay piece. I'm going to get an AEM filter for it and just keep the tube.

Don't think anyone had pointed this out to you. CAI are intakes linked to an air source outside of the engine bay. So you have yourself a WAI (warm air intake). See a lot of people making that little mistake. :happy107:

Yeah I know but of course it's promoted as a CAI I'm going to get the airaid tube and drop in filter for my factory box I've decided so I can retain a real CAI maybe get the relocated intake tube.

Been looking at a intake system, really wanted S&B but they suck for not making one for my truck, heard getting airaid and use stock box with different filter is real good as well.

I have pulled the driveshaft to install the longer one working getting it done need a bigger tool to use so I'll get that tomorrow at work. Doing some engagement photos this weekend and the truck is the main prop for it since it's been a big part of our relationship. So the shaft will be in by lunch Friday.

New drive shaft is installed and the old one needs a home if anyone is curious. But let me say night and day difference wish I had done this when I did the lift cause all my vibration is gone. It for what would be the tires.

Where did you get your driveshaft from?

Sorry I never saw your post I got it on eBay from a shop outta Utah. Sellers name is cjtatton. Very well made definitely sturdy and he preinstalls spicer non greasable ujoints. Very happy with it. He paints them all black before he sends them out as well.

Other news I have gotten my led bar installed and wiring is in the works possibly wired in tonight. 06caf79cf21cdc1793b0f92598248dd3.jpg
I have it low so it doesn't affect my clearance with my car port since I don't have to much to begin with.
I am on the search to finish out whatever is causing my vibration now. Driveshaft correct most of it but it's still there enough to be noticed at low rpms. I ordered a new set of wheels spacers that are hubcentric and I went to a 2" from a 1.5". So another inch of width. Hoping this corrects some as well. Will be correcting my u-bolts on the axle they have walked out a little but so I'll retighten those and see if this corrects everything.
I know the vibration is not pinion angle since the angle was adjusted to accommodate the lift.
Onto the exhaust the drone is murder with no muffler but I thought I'd have my exhaust finished by now, but I have started to get the rest of the piping through my job. Going with premier tail piping by magnaflow at 2.5" stainless. I get a discount so it's cheaper than buying just the bends I needed. Someone already expressed desire for the pipe I have so I'll sell it quick.

We are deciding now on switching back to the stock bumper but color matching the chrome to the truck and repaint of the black. I need my tow points back and don't know if I can get the hitch I have to work with the roll pan but we'll see.

Been a while since I posted here got a few updates to add.
I got the vibration resolved only gotta get a bead balance done to finish everything finished off. I fixed my problem by switching from a 1.5" lugcentric spacer to a 2" hubcentric spacer. Got my tires rotated so just balancing is left. Got a nice stance going on now e29422a32f59024b42914ae24d312c43.jpg I trimmed up the fenders so no running now.

I started the lighting build I have the light bar installed and wired and am working on the fog lights got a switch on order will be here Sunday. 1223a0609a21bd566df51e4b51a36dfc.jpg3263ac2093154dc3be2785befb81fb1f.jpg 52" curved black housing Cree LED bar.

We decided I'm going to switch back to the factory bumper but I'm going to color match it to the truck and put the tow hitch back in.
We enemy out today just for fun and took some pics got the truck flexin and just random pics with the fall colors. 0bf40acbb933f20b0f3cc58dc3df92d1.jpgb8c37873d0f5d3b78906e4f17ad7a5ef.jpg6eabc7eddd5ae79d7878475e877757b2.jpgaaf8bc693c2791b66582d80bf705d718.jpged17fe9573adb86a51f26e884f9efeb5.jpg
I also got asked when I removed the muffler and tail pipe for a sound clip https://vimeo.com/188384303

Do you hear noise coming from lightbar at highway speeds? I love the look of bats up top but heard they produce a sound.

It does but it doesn't bother me since I've always got my windows down with the music up. Also if you get the right angle I heard it wont

Looks good. Just take a piece of tape and put it vertical across the fins in the middle of the bar on the backside. It will stop the noise completely.
