Clearance lights

I'm done stripping and painting cab roof of my 2002 Ram2500HD....the running lights...can they be replaced with LEDs or wiser to stay with OEM bulbs. Thanks for any help offered

They can be changed to LED, but I found the LED's give off more of a "harsh"and direct light, compared to the softer lighting of the stock bulbs. But the choice is yours, maybe try one and see what you think.

Yah I think I'll pass on the LEDs for the clearance lights...good point on the LEDs bringing a more focused light. So back to the OEM Sylvanias (194), but I also need license plate lights...those I'll do in LEDs. Thanks for the tip....BTW..GO PACK GO...and WHITE N RED TIL I'M COLD N DEAD.

I've been running these as license plate and CHMSL (3rd brake light) bulbs since 2017.


They've more than doubled in price since then (I paid $10 for a 10 pack, they are $23 now) but I'd still recommend them. I've had 1 go bad in that time (started flickering), but I just popped another in.
