So i bought some foglights with color shift halos. I wired them up correctly and the halos work. They connect to a control box in the cab and from there to the battery. I can control the colors and patterns with an infrared remote that was included.
But the actual fog light bulbs will not come on.
My truck originally did not have fog lights nor the plugs on the the P and D sides. So i bought a Mopar fog light wiring harness thats made just for the dodge ram. It had 2 plugs on the harness.. And some sort of connector...which looks like it. connects to a plug that was hanging down on D side of my truck.
Sort of a square shaped piece..it fit perfectly into that plug.
I assumed that this was a relay or a connection that would connect my fog lights in conjunction with the headlights, so if i were to turn my headlights on..the fog light bulbs should light up as well.
I guess i was wrong. The fog light bulbs will not turn on at all.
What do i do now? I seen things online about power switches?.. but i dont understand how to connect one.
