For anybody interested the Airdrie Oilmens Association are holding their annual Bikes and Bulls event this week-end,with 1/8th mile drag racing on the Airdrie Airport.Tech is at 8:00 AM at the Airdrie Airport,just east of Airdrie.It's bracket style drag racing,so it doesn't matter if your truck is fast or is a slug,bring it out,it's for a good cause to.

Unfortunately, I read the rules and my truck is too fast and my helmet is for motorcycling and i don't have a roll bar. I'll have to continue to keep my speedster a secret from the rest of the world!!!!!

Been there for as long as I remember,i used to buy Avgas there back in the early 80's as they were the only local airport that would let you drive a car right to the pumps and fill up several Jerry cans at the same time,i think they don't do that anymore,lol
Bring your hotrod out Terry,it's a good time.They aren't that strict on helmuts,as long as you have one,they'll probably let you race.Good way to have fun on a Sat/Sun.My wife will be racing her stock Challenger,and there'll be a few more stock vehicles racing,so you don't have to worry about being fast,bracket racing is all about consistency and driver,has nothing to do with being fast.Usually the slower vehicles are better for this style bracket racing,as they are more consistent.Besides if my wife can do it,you should be okay to,lol
