I think the Bighorn 1500 is a good package....might be worth it to look at the 2500 Bighorn with the 8 speed, if you liked your Laramie...

I had the etorque in my previous Ram, I disliked the start/stop feature and disabled it whenever I started the truck. I was glad when I found my new one without it.

I had a 2019 1500 Limited with eTorque and now drive a 2500. I liked the eTorque and would buy another one if I went back to a 1500. As many start-stop products that are on the market, Ram has the best one.

Ram does have the best one due to the fact that they use the generator as I call it instead of the actual starter motor. I am not knocking the system I just did not care for it.

I don't like the complexities associated with E-Torque.
I would have to have a 3.92 rear end.
Chrome clad wheels look cheap.

Sorry, just my opinion.

I approve of the rest of it, If that matters.

Are they now offering the 3.55 with the hemi? For quite a while it has been either 3.21 or 3.92 for the hemi with the 3.55 being available on the pentastar and ecodiesel.

You're right Joe, 3.55 is only available with the V6. It would be cool if they changed that though. I'd have gone with that gear if I could have gotten it with either version of the Hemi.

@coobie, I have the etorque, and it's a well engineered system. It works flawlessly, and is the best stop/start system I've driven. The engine restarts before you can get your foot from the brake to the gas pedal. My only beef with it is the complexity. It will be an expensive repair bill if it needs to be fixed after the warranty expires.

Couldn't get that option to go with the Hemi, only 3.21 or 3.92 rear end.
