Looking at Gen II and Gen IIIs because of the price... I have a similar thread in the Gen III forum.
Besides scanning for quality of fluids, leaks, general appearance, and an OBDII scan with Torque, what else should I look for in say, a '97 or '99?
A couple of promising candidates include a '97 diesel w/ 176k for $6700, a '99 V8 w/ 160k for $3k (wondering what's wrong with it?), etc.
Thanks!
