This kit I just received (82219288A$), I'd like to see if anyone else has purchased or dealt with at all.
It came from a Mopar parts site possibly not meant for customer purchase, but it is listed on Mopar's site (cannot be shipped - "hazardous materials"), and others say it's not for sale. The site I got it from had it listed for sale, I ordered, and it immediately came up "backordered". I contacted them to cancel, if ETA was beyond one month. They said they canceled it, but it said "shipped" days later. So, who knows?
It's a factory remote start for "25+ DJ/D2". Mine's a '26 DJ (2500 Warlock).
From what I understand, AlfaOBD does not work on these newest trucks, and it would take RF hub reprogramming from a dealer to make it work. Is that correct?
The kit contains two RAM fobs, a hood latch and harness, and a bag of black zip ties. Another part number on the box is 8221 9288 AC - 001
