Need Some Opinions

Today before the Blackhawks game I was outside bull****ting with a buddy and he gave me what I think might be a nice look change to the truck. He suggested doing my chrome bumpers, rocker panels, and fender flares all in matte black to match the rims. I am horrible at picturing things in my head but as far as I can imagine I think it would look awesome. Here is how my truck sits now:





Shortly the rims will be swapped out for some XD rims and 35" tires, the rims will be matte black. Also will be adding some bushwacker fender flares from a buddy for a steal and having those painted matte black, bolts and all.

What are your opinions on the vinyl wrap on the bumpers and rocker panels? Thanks!

I think that would look awesome! I have always liked the high gloss/matte finish combo. I say go for it. Maybe one of the members could photoshop the pic for ya.

I would love if someone could do that! My buddy is big into doing auto work so he said he would love to help me and the cost to do the whole vinyl along the bottom and bumpers is cheaper then just getting one bumper painted to match. Thanks for the input!

I say do your bumpers and chrome door handles. I though I would do the black and flat black look with fender flares and ended up not liking it. Your truck as it sits is super clean looking. Just my opinion but I wouldn't go adding contrast that'll make it look busy. Ultimately your truck and it'll just be vinyl so you can pull it off. Plasti dip may even be an easier route.

Edit: I also think a little bit of chrome on a jacked up truck adds a nice contrast. Not a lot but black with chrome bumpers is really growing on me.

That's a lot better then what I could master on PS, most things I can do decently but PS is not a strong suite. I really like that look.

Bailey now you read my mind, wanted to add that in there but figured I would get this done first possibly!

Wasn't sure at first but after seeing the pics Bailey posted, i'd say 'yup' ... no doubt. Door handles too - like Mattman said.
