Hi All. Just discovered this forum today after 20 years of Dodge 1500 ownership.
My 2008 1500 Quad Cab 4X4 5.7 Hemi has 145K miles and is very well cared for. It is Electric Blue Metallic and being a professional painter, have kept it nice. It is not a daily driver, mostly highway when used.
I've noticed a very slight hesitation "bump" for just a second when just starting out from a stop or when I let off the gas to slow down then lightly apply the gas pedal. It is intermittent with no other noises and performs well otherwise. Engine runs great. Have owned it for 10 yrs. fixing anything when it comes up. I'm not sure if this engine related or transmission or who would be the best to tell me the cause without ringing their hands with "you need a new transmission right now" approach. My trusted mechanics have been disappearing one at a time. ANY help is much appreciated everyone
