So I am bored with my truck and am thinking of lifting it. I am looking at a Rough Country 4in lift and moving up to 35 tires from the 33. My question is. Do I have to cut part of the front diff mount to install the lift? I called Rough Country and they say no but they didn’t sound 100% sure on it so I thought I’d ask the people that installed them on their trucks. Thanks for the help, Mike.

Bored lol. me too. Wish I had an answer for you. I also have a 2005 4x4 1500 and looking to do the same. Does your kit come with upper control arms? I have not looked at rough country. I'm concerned about upper ball joint angle. I'm looking at 35's and a 3 or 4 inch lift. Not looking to change factory wheels so prob. stick to 11.5 wide. Hope you get the answer's you're looking for. Bob
