Also have to get the ypipe and raceland I bought from Shadow installed prob next week. I have slacked and not posted the 6k HID fogs I put in a few weeks ago also. Im guessing end if summer the trans will be coming out and getting reworked though :Grenade:

Well you need to get updated man. I wanna see pics of those lights. I'm still not sold on HID yet for my truck. I have the look alikes and everyone tells me that they are just as bright as my fogs and my fogs blind everybody cause they are the perfect height for rearview mirrors. lol But That cutout sounds like a fun one. How much work you doin to the trans?? Shift kit or a TC??

Has a Transgo shift kit in it along with a 4.7 converter that flashes at 2600-2800 but at WOT there feels like a slip going from 2nd to 3rd. The AI is sopp to show slip so IDK we will see. Driving around town and hitting it off the line 1st and 2nd feels right just hesitates coming out of 2nd. By no means is it not allowing the truck to function but gonna keep an eye on it. When its bad enought and I have the $1,500 to build it its getting yanked.

That's pretty sweet. I don't know what my truck would sound like with cut outs but I think it would just be cool to have to show off to all the ricers in town. I just had one today try and race me in the snow! IN THE SNOW!!! I mean come on that is just stupid... Yea I'm the dumb one pullin in 4x and the little honda is just givin it hell. Funny as hell too.

Order a cheap manual one on it just to hear it, they are normaly loud as hell but having popping during shifts or letting off from going WOT. If I can find a kid round here with a 2nd Gen and straight pipes I will trying getting a sound clip for ya. I know of 3 that run around but are still 16 and think I wanna race when I try tellin em bout the site or comment on their truck...

Heck yea. I have heard several around town here too but each one has a different pitch. Some are real loud and pop and others are real smooth and just loud. So how to achieve that I have no idea. Still thinking about gettin a custom exhaust welded up. But still not sold on what I want.

The overly loud ones are running straight pipes, glasspacks or cherry bombs. Magnaflow and Flowmasters sound good.

I have a rustmaster on it now and its very blan. I want something different. I was thinking of having the custom come out in front of the spare tire on the passenger side with either a magnaflow or one of the aero xl I keep seeing everyone talk about. Still true duals I think would sound best with a custom set of longtubes.

What style FM ya got? They do make almost OEM sounding mufflers, I have a Delta 40 on mine and am waiting for it to blow through (5 yrs on it) so I can redo all mine.

I believe that it is a series 40 SI/DO setup that was on the truck when I bought it. The chrome tips have rusted off the hangers are halfway gone the exhaust is haninging by I think one mount before the muffler and one at the Y and the bend over the axle had a 50cent piece sized hole that I duct taped with JB weld. The clamps are rusted off and the whole thing isn't welded together but is rusted together. So.... Yea. I want a new exhaust. But gotta get body work done this spring before I can do any performance mods.
