My wife and I bought a 2106 Ram 1500, Crew Cab, Hemi 5.7 a few months ago.
I would like to upgrade the lighting, starting with the headlights, both high and low beams.
I would like to switch to LED, but, I do not want to replace the entire headlight unit, just the bulbs.
The work will be done at the Vo-Tech in our school district, our 16-year-old granddaughter is in auto repair.
Her teacher said to go LED. After doing some checking, I believe this can be done, but, I have to know if the Ram is CAN Bus A or CAN Bus B.
Can I just replace the bulbs and go from halogen to LED?
If not or if it gets expensive, is there a halogen replacement that is equivalent or close to LED?
And, how do I know or find out if our Ram is CAN Bus A or CAN Bus B?
