I have a new to me 2003 Ram 1500 Quad Cab 4x4 with tow package. I'm getting the left turn signal and brake light and parking lights at the 4 way connector but no right turn signal or brake light. I can hear the relay/flasher working under the fuses at the fuse box and it will stop when I pull the fuse to the right side.

Haven't been able to trace the wire all the way from the 4 way connector to fuse box but have spot checked up to about halfway to the front of the truck from the 4 way.

Could the relay be working and still not sending power out of the fuse box? If so, has anyone had any luck using an aftermarket powered trailer light converter/adapter and if so any brand and model recommendations?

Thanks in advance for any help.

It the right blinker working on the truck as well as the right brake light? If so, the issue is in the factory trailer wiring and probably in the rear where it is exposed to the elements...

The right blinker and brake light on the truck are working. I've actually replaced the 4 way connector in the back and there is no power coming through the wire for the right blinker/brake light to the connector. It was pretty corroded so I replaced it first.

It's a white wire with a pink stripe. Is there anywhere that this might commonly get pinched, etc. on these trucks?

I've read in Google search results where people have to replace the fuse box to resolve these issues but usually the relay/flasher in the fuse box can't be heard when bad on the things that I read.

I'm not sure where the factory tie in point is but worst case is you identify the wires to the right rear tail in the harness out back and tap in new wires to go to the plug, cutting and capping the old ones.

Went to UHaul this morning to see if they had a powered converter to prevent feedback to the truck's lighting system. They said they never use a setup like that on the Rams.

They just use a $8.50 4 way flat connector with wiring that splices into the truck's taillights, brake lights, etc. Can it really be this simple and cheap? I know I used to do this on older non-computer cars with no problems.
