roll bar

thinking about putting a roll bar on my 2nd gen 1500 longbed not sure what kind or color anyone got pictures and opinions let me know

Luke has one for summer use. They are stupid expensive new in any finish. Troll Craigslist and you can usually find a deal within your state.

Not sure for a long box. May have to get one with larger arms that extend out to the center of the box more.

If I ever run lights I am just going to harbor freight or Walmart, cause thats the budget I am on. But I cannot run lights at this time because I would not fit in the parking garage at work.

kc lights are always cheap at swap meets and parts-o-ramas i have two 6" day lighters new in the boxs i only payed $25 for both

Would a short bed roll bar work in a long bed

Depends on the roll bar. Mine the back legs are shorter so they sit on the wheel wells.

Check a local fab shop and see what they would charge. They might be able to make up one pretty cheap. If they use the same tube that race car roll cages are made out of them the price of the tubing is up there.
