Been a while since I was here, hopefully someone can give me some insight?

    '99 1500 5.2 5spd

After sitting for more than fiveish days, especially if its cold, engine will turn over and start, but dies after 3-5 seconds unless I keep my foot lightly on the accelerator. It's also running rich and fails emissions testing at idle but passes at 2500rpm. After about a minute under light throttle, it will idle fine.

I have recently done plugs wires rotor cap and air filter. It made no change to the condition.

    Any thoughts?

Clean the throttle body and run some Redline Complete System Fuel Cleaner in your gas and it should make a big difference. In my experience dirty throttle body/fuel injectors are the best place to start.

Check your O2 Sensors, Faulty sensor could cause Rich Condition.

Also get a new pcv valve. That plays into how it idles.

Another thing you can do is ohm check your coil and see what the health of it is.
