Hey my dudes, long story short my serv 4wd light was coming on in carwash and heavy rain/deep snow.
Tracked it down to both plugs at front and rear actuators. Cleaned and dielectric grease fixed issue for a month, now the light has come back but only at start up and backing out of driveway. Comes on like clock work and goes out just after going into drive from reverse.
Im just wondering if when it goes through its cycle of tests from various sensors it is being set off then clears on a second reading? No codes thrown. Anyone one know what the system checks before it disables 4wd? Im thinking possibly bad wheel sensor on first read then clears when moving forward? I dunno but hope im making sense. Ideas? Thanks kindly
