Shock extenders on 4" rear drop

I'm running stock height Rancho 9000XL's and was wondering if shock extenders are needed with a rear 4" drop.....anybody have some info?

I am 90% you do need them i have the belltech 964sp and it came with shorter shocks.

I bought the belltech 4" rear drop springs and not a kit. If nobody has a link, I'll email belltech and mcgaughy's and see if they sell them separate. I briefly looked on jegs and summit but didn't see them. Thanks for the replies guys!

2/4 mcgaughys uses the stock shocks, so I would think any 4" drop in the rear would be fine w/ just the stock length shocks.
