Should my gauge show warmer?

This is as high as my temp gauge goes with normal to aggressive driving. And what does the half way point represent in degrees?

Looks like the right place. I've read that there are a few different thermostats out there on different trucks. If you drive in hot weather most of the time then there is a popular Mod that many (including me) have installed. Give it some time and monitor the temperature. You may be OK. To mod for mod sake is kind of silly. Mod it to make it better/more reliable. Or sexier or louder or what-ever. Ya Felling it?

With my efan and 180 tstat my truck runs a lil cooler than that. You should be fine.

Mine sits about where atxhemi is at on my second gen but I feel like it's not right ill try to snap a pic but then again maybe it is!!!
