Got mine this past Saturday. Honestly, I've never liked red vehicles. For some reason, after spending several days test driving F-150's including a take home test drive, I happened to ride by the local Nissan place and spied this bright red with chrome wheels, Dodge Ram 1500. I was actually going there to check out a Nissan Titan. I test drove a Titan just because that's why I went to this dealer but as soon as my feet hit the ground after the test, I asked for the keys to the Dodge. That's all it took. Couple hours later I was taking her home, even though red is my last choice in color. I'm usually a white, silver, gray fan. So anyways, I've seen a couple red ones on her that have slightly changed my mind towards red. I'd just like to see some more for inspiration. I'll throw mine up. It's just a stock truck. Not much to it. a 2012 1500 with the Hemi 5.7. Not even sure the trim level but I'm thinking Express cause it's pretty bare bones. Even so, I love the truck.

I'm with you that red has never been a color I would choose but I love this truck.

Congratulations on your purchase.

Not bright red but -

My suggestions:
1) register at https://www.moparownerconnect.com/oc/us/en-us/sub/pages/ownerslogin.aspx
You can find a list of all the factory options your truck came with, dealer installed options and dealer performed services.

2) You can e-mail Chrysler for a build sheet, I can't remember the website to do this,
However, You can go to this site: http://www.chrysler.com/webselfservice/chrysler/index.html
select "Equipment Listing" on the left side under "My Vehicle" - enter your VIN and it gives you an instant .pdf Build Sheet.

3) Research and install a Catch can and Cabin Air filter mods.

Hey Johnny, how you like those rims? I'm stuck between the Monsters and the ones on your truck. Can't make up my mind. Lookin' at 20x10's though.

We bought the truck used, and those rims were a big selling point for my wife.
Being a native Texan, she loves that star in the middle.

I think the dealership actually took a bit off their asking price because they are not the factory polished 20" rims that came with the LoneStar package.
So it was a win - win for us. :)

We get a lot of positive comments from people on them.

ETA: I am guessing they are the 20x8.5 since they are the factory tires and the truck came with 20x8 wheels.

I was also not a fan of red nor chrome but somehow got both. I actually like the color now more than I thought I ever would. But the chrome bumpers have got to go, need to find color matched bumpers ASAP

Not a big fan of the chrome, either.

I saw some bumpers than had been Line-X'd,
I am thinking of doing this with ours.

I was thinking the same but when I called to have them do my side steps line-x told me they would have to send them out for sand blasting. So was thinking if they had to do the same with bumpers I would just try and find an aftermarket bumper I can paint to color match or find someone trying to get rid of their color matched for chrome. Which I don't think will ever happen so option 1 is what I have been looking into.

Just a ReadyLIFT leveling kit with 295/60r20 Nitto Terra Grapplers.

Looks good. Can't wait to get my BL and 35's done in early spring. Have to decide if I want the black flares or color matched.

I was aiming for black accents. The grill is blacked out now, as are the front and rear badges. I'll be blacking out the steps and adding black bed rails.

I've seen several trucks with the color matched flares and they look great too.

(I really need to take some new pictures)

I've always wanted a red vehicle but for whatever reason it never happened till I bought this one. I love it! My last several vehicles have been dark colored. They looked filthy the day after a wash. The red looks clean even if I have to skip a wash.
