Lately, I have been searching for songs that sound particularly good on my system or have an interesting sound, instrument, beat or note...

Below are a few songs that show off some SQ :naughty:

The pluck of the guitar strings sounds amazing:
Ottmar Liebert - Surrender to Love https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=yPcvogKgpV0
Gypsey Kings - Passion https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=k22M_RtXq5Q

Pretty cool electronic sounds with great vocals:
Ed Sheeran - I See Fire https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=oWYp1xRPH5g

Hard-n-Heavy, badass beat and guitars:
Disturbed - The Night https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=YbwH5DADhDA

Let's hear what you got! Please mention what to listen for, if their is something about the song or a certain part of the song that is noteworthy.

Lizard and Auto, we have very similar tastes in music. I'll have to check out Ronald Jenkees and David Gray.

At the risk of sounding old......These are what I consider "Easy and Dynamic Listening" and just sound good on a long ride.

Lionel Richie - Sail On and All Night Long
Bob Seger - Greatest Hits
Marc Cohn - Walking in Memphis
Van Halen - Finish What You Started
A-Ha - Take On Me
Bruce Hornsby - The Way it is, Mandolin Rain
Elton John - Too may to list, Great Piano
Billy Joel - Great Piano
Genesis - Lots of stuff
Peter Gabriel - Shock the Monkey - Live in London
John Cougar Mellencamp - Words & Music / Greatest Hits
Shinedown - 45 (Live from Kansas City)
Styx - The Best of Styx
Toto - Hold the Line
Marvin Gaye - ****** Healing

ELO - Fire On High

This was one of our test songs back in the day I played with systems, But I'm more into a crisp violin as opposed to thumping the back window out.

This song is what convinced me to buy a pair of ESS AMT-1A's

Three Days Grace- Chalk outline is freaking amazing when you get your mids tuned up. I do have to say I get a ton of wow factor when I play that one for my friends.

Ages ago, OK back in the late 80's and early 90's, when I was spending freely on car audio a CD that really put systems to the test was Pink Floyd's Momentary Lapse of Reason.

Track 1 Signs of Life was great for shocking folks sitting in my truck and not expecting the bass kicking in. ☺
Track 3 Dogs of War was great as well.

I have resisted doing any car audio upgrades since 94 on any of my vehicles because addiction. ☺ I have enjoyed the build threads on this forum (DavidRam yours is awesome), but hope that I can live vicariously through you guys...
