Hi all,

I don't yet have an SRT-10, but I am trying to do some research and get a good idea of where to start. Furthermore, trying to get a better idea of what I am getting myself into and how much I should be expecting to spend to get this project going. As I said, I don't have one yet but I am looking in to purchasing one and everywhere I look the lowest I've seen is roughly 35k+ to buy the truck to start with. I am also trying to specifically find a quad-cab with a manual transmission which really shallows the pool of trucks to find. Once/If I find the truck I would also want to see what can be done about making it my daily driver and be very reliable and THEN up the hp/torque. If anyone has an idea of where I can find one lower then $25k even if it isn't in the best of shape but still meets what I am looking for I would be VERY grateful for the help!

Double check for yourself to be certain, but I don't believe they made an SRT-10 quad cab with a manual transmission

^^^^All the quad cabs came with automatic transmissions. I've heard of some owners converting them to manual.

So, with the understanding that I am going to HAVE to get an automatic and do a swap on it, considering I would like to try to stick to stock internals (at least for now) what should I be expecting to spend to purchase the truck and get it to be completely reliable? Starting with reliable, then over time swapping parts for power - unless I win the powerball or something...
