And 1 speed trap scare... was going 63 in a 55 zone on route 58 across Virginia and as i passed him he threw on the lights and pulled out...but he ended up getting a SUV that was flying up behind me.
Yeah, they don't play around much up there.
63 in a 55 here is also taking a bit of a risk, esp where I'm at.

I keep it within 5 of what's posted for that reason.

Did another ~800 mile trip at mostly 78mph, had an over all average of 68mph and the mpg dropped to 19.8 calculated. This trip was mostly on hills in the mountains

Just ran a 880 round trip. Averaging 72. Outside temp in the 90’s. Averaged 17.1 mpg per the computer. Not horrific plus the 33gal tank has fantastic range. 93 octane sucks. Passing power is silly.

Driven both the HO and SO. The difference is noticeable. Thought the SO was the v6 at first after driving the HO for a month.

On long road trips - speed can actually make the trip take longer.

If you do the math, if you can cut out one gas stop by going slower, the total time will equal or be lower than going fast.

You have to do the math for your mpg at various speeds.
