Strange noise

Was just out in my garage, I kept hearing this faint beep buzzing sound every couple of minutes. At first I didn't think anything of it, then I decided to investigate. It's coming from my truck! Left side engine bay just above the tire. Any idea what this may be????

I've heard this while sitting in the cab with the truck off for awhile, sounded to me almost like the blower fan or blend doors moving from the inside, never heard it from outside though.

i have heard this as well but this is a different noise. it is coming from the engine bay on my truck and sounds like toward the center of the engine but tough to pin point where exactly. it sounds electronic almost.

I experienced this once as well. I was unable to pinpoint where it was coming from but it was strange. I was inside the truck at the time with everything off. So I don't know what causes it.

I was washing my truck last week and while I was up front washing the grill I heard it twice. Sounded like a little electric motor coming on for about 3-5 seconds. Keys out of the truck. Weird.

My truck was unlocked at the time.

When it happened I was either thinking HVAC or the Grille Shutters opening or closing. But honestly have no idea.

Im having the same issue. Did anyone figure this out? Hopefully its a a complicated issue. As for the pcv valve, my truck is a 2014 ram 1500 5.7 with 70k on it, i have never messed with the pcv valve.

Possibly bringing the RKE fob into close proximity to the truck waking something up?
