Hello! I need some help with my 05 Ram 1500 QC with a 5.7 HEMI Magnum. When I come to a stop I have some surging that happens. When this happens and I accelerate I get a jumpy hesitation and then all of a sudden the truck will smooth out. One interesting thing I noticed is when it surges after some time it will stop surging. When I am sitting at a stop, if I shift down from Drive to 2nd it does nothing. But, when I shift from 2nd to 1st it acts like it shifts down. I have cleaned the TB and replaced the EGR valve thinking this would fix it. I have read threads on here and emailed a couple of the users with similar problems but haven't received anything back from them. I plan to go tomorrow to have a Dodge Mechanic drive the truck with a computer hooked up to see if he can tell what is going on. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
I am sure someone will jump in here and be able to assist you in fixing your problems.
