If any of ya'll ( my American imitation ) "OLDE FOLKS" out there ever decide to sound deaden your Ram yourself...DO NOT DO IT ! Half a bottle of Tylenol later and about 3 days of back bending work I got 'er done... amidst numerous expletives. Was it worth it..YES...did I expect the work involved NO! Pay to have some young fellas do it, you will thank me..

mine is already the quietest truck I have ever owned, just as I bought it. was thinking about straight piping the muffler or at least putting a different muffler onto it. and though I'm "only" 54, some days I know 80 year olds that run circles around me/

I found my ecodiesel has insulation sandwiched between the engine bay and front fenders. So with that and the other NVH Ram put in place I find my truck very quiet inside

Yep..I love to hear my 70's music "Clearly"..even with tire road noise..so I ewliminated a lot of that noise..wahta difference. These rams should come like this from the factory. Your p[oinbt about the front end sound deadening/insulation ,might be the next "effort"..for now just going to enjoy the quiet that "MOI" has been created thank you!

I did the entire interior including the doors, the floor, the trunk and the firewall, on my Chrysler 300 SRT8.

It was a long, sticky and slightly painful experience but I got it done. I totally get where you are coming from!

Ahhh Maddog.. a man of dedication ..I appalaud you.....As budget allows I will no doubt do all but the roof liner. Although I realize it is a major component of noise, the task is daunting for an "Old Fart" by himself....time for a lottery ticket me thinks..lol
