Wrapping the fake wood trim

Hello has any one used some kind of wrap to hide the wood trim inside your ram. I found some stuff on Amazon to go over the fake wood to make it look like carbon fiber sometimes like what was gone in this pictures

I did it a couple times on my last vehicle. It's not too bad, heat really helps to get it to fit and form well. Clean everything with strong alcohol first.

I prefer 3m films, I think 1080 series it was.

I used it in my Jeep myself, it's still holding up like new 5 years later.
Prep with alcohol first and seal the edges with clear fingernail polish when done to keep it from peeling up.

I did in my last vehicle as well. Using a kit off of Amazon. Came with a roll of carbon fiber wrap, heat gun and blade to trim. Was super easy with the heat and it wrapped around “snug” to the back and around corners to keep it tight.
