    Transmission

Good afternoon sports fans, I have a 2016 2500 - 6.7L W/ DG7-6 68RFE transmission. My "good friends" at my local dealer is trying to tell me that a torque for a 2018 - 2024 will work for my truck. The Mopar site says it "Will NOT work for my vehicle" I believe I'm getting more run-around from...

Looks like I'm never buying RAM again...

Saw the title of this thread "never buy another Ram" Ram tough is BS I see all the talk about torque & horsepower & gas milage..... none of that is applicable if the transmission goes out @ 71000 miles. I honestly thought this would be the last truck I had to buy. Even when they rebuild it...

    Multiple communication and voltage codes

Rookie question here, what code reader would be best for a 2016 - 2500 6.7? I'm a little fed up with my dealer reading off codes emanating from my transmission. The number I do understand is the $7500 to rebuild a trans with 71000 miles.

call me paranoid but 2 days after I had words with the dealer regarding the Cummons emission software update, they asked me if I had a check engine light come, TA DA..... I had a check engine light come on and the truck went into "limp" mode and now I'm being told it's the transmission. Only...

    Cummins $1.6 billion dollar fine!!!

Follow up to my earlier post on this matter............... Dealer first told me to drive for 1 - 2 K miles to reset....OK Went back today after driving 2500 miles and following the Chrysler & Dodge "drive cycle procedure to complete OBD readiness monitor" and STILL O2 sensor not reading only...

    FCA emissions recall 67A

Dealer is absolutely no help. I was told they can only do 1 download / calibration per recall. Called the Mopar customer service line, took down my info and transferred me to another local dealer who didn't answer the phone and has yet to answer my message. Ram, Cummins, Dipsh*t dealer circle...

    FCA emissions recall 67A

I just need to get the thing registered and I can't get it done in it's current condition thanks to Cummins, Ram, and the local dipsh*t dealer. Like I said, It shouldn't be this hard.

    FCA emissions recall 67A

Reading a lot of these, I'll add my bit. Had my 2016 2500 in for the emissions software update, now the truck does NOT pass smog and therefore the truck can't complete it's DMV reg. OBD is not reading the O2 sensor. Dealer says I need to drive it 1 - 2 K miles. So here we are 2500 miles later...
