Went to the place to lease a BigHorn and they told him for 36 months it would be $450.00 per month with $3600 owed at signing. Now I’m not trying to start a lease vs buy discussion, just happen to see this posted on the forum and sent it to him.

I know right, that’s one way to market these vehicles. :)

That lease offer you posted requires $6,500 down. If you divide that out over the 24 months lease term, the lease "special" at Turnersville is actually $570 a month.
When you spread the down payment of your friend's lease into the lease term of 36 months it is $550 per month. Looks like your friend's deal is better.

Not that I'd do either of these leases. Over $400 a month for a 1500 Big Horn lease, any 1500 Big Horn lease, is insane.

Local Dealer keeps sending me invites to turn in my almost paid off truck for a similar new truck and 6 years of payments for $75/month more than my current payment.

Now I ask you, if I own in in October, why would anyone be dumb enough to accept less and turn that tiny bit of payoff into a trade in?

If I walk-in in October with a paid off truck, I'm going to get a grunch off on a left over 2018 AND have a big trade in value to apply.

There's a sucker born everyday I guess.

The funny part is he has two 2018 Mercedes but he wants a truck in case he needs to move things between his rental properties. It will be leased under his business name and parked where his main office is. Again not trying to make this into a lease VS buy debacle as we all know how that would end ha ha ha.

He is the perfect candidate for leasing, you do this so you dont have to pay uncle sam. Why give them that extra 10k each year? Just lease it and park it and deduct it as a business expense.
