ROLL-UP INFO: FOTA 18.11.x & uC D/L 18.45.01 SW Update 13-17 RA3/Vp3-NA & Ra4 VP4-NA

Is there a fix/way to update for those of that upgraded to these radios? I really don’t want to lose my gps function.

We are waiting for actual downloads to be available from uConnect update site since dealer doesn't have any files themselves yet.

Is exactly what is fixed with the update. It's all internal so you won't see any changes, but that is what changed.

My update actually went through without a hitch. Didn’t take more than 10 minutes. Did it driving down the road.

I may be totally wrong about this, but my 9 speaker Alpine may be a little less responsive than it was.

(ie 17 Ra4 VP4-NA v18.45.01 or 15 RA3 Vp3-NA v18.11.07, etc)

Curious if different years are getting different SW versions. Looks like 2017 RAx radios are getting v18.45.01.

Looks like there will be different versions for each year (17 appears to be getting 18.45.x)

And that was the other thing - I couldn't get into settings when it was in the software update scheduled mode. It would tell me the ignition had to be in Run position - which it was. Tried it running, not running, in Park & Drive.

They say that there is NO way to refuse this? I unplugged my cellular antenna shortly after getting the truck, since there is no way to disable the modem. I sometimes do get a 3G signal on the highway, but it only lasts for a few minutes. Will it eventually leave me stranded somewhere?

The website will not have the software that is meant to come from the OTA.

That's one reason to double check your current version. The website said mine had an update available it was the 17.43... the OTA gave me the 18..... so check your current and let it do its thing. My daughter and I just sat in the truck didn't want to risk opening a door.

Did I get a later software version? I have a 2015:

From my build sheet:
Uconnect 3C NAV with 8.4" Display. I don’t know if that answers your question, but it is a US model that came from the factory with Navi.
