Went on Ram’s site and copied the codes. I am hopeful when I go back to the dealership, the way I have it mapped I will have the power folds and NOT the tow mirrors. If I have to get the sunroof so be it, just not in my really want list.

Only way to get the tow mirrors is with the tow package. Skip that and you'll be good.

So eliminate this vehicle because of the brake controller ? Put it this way I’m looking for 3.92, anti slip diff, 8.4 screen, and 5 passenger seating. Anything above that is things that I will probably not use. My last Ram was a Bighorn and that was a really basic truck minus the remote start and the sliding rear window.

The window sticker you listed has the tow package, which includes the tow mirrors. Do not get the tow package unless you want the tow mirrors!

If you want the TBC, order it as a stand alone option

Be assured they looked at the "LIST". After they got done reading it they started adding stuff to it, including the $ signs that were roaming around in the thoughts in their skulls! They got this technique where they tip their head sideways above the "LIST" and bang their hand on their other ear facing the ceiling and the stuff just falls right out on to the "LIST". Amazingly the customer service thoughts get stuck up somewhere in a crevice in their brain and those don't come out! lol..

Yes. Crazy as it sounds, they will.
They are in a very rural part of extreme northern Idaho, about 40 miles from Canada.
They are the nations largest Chrysler and GM dealer. Bar none. Somewhere around 300 units a week.

Call my guy, he will give you the skinny.
The salesman are NOT on commission. They are required to give every single discount available or they get canned. No chit.

Dave smith makes their money on volume, from the manufacturers rebates. They only need to clear a small margin on the units

In my opinion, get all the options you can. Have the dealer throw it in even if it’s not on the order sheet. You never know what you need until you don’t have it. Sometimes certain things, especially factory options, are very difficult to add later.

Don’t get the tow mirrors, you have a “must have list”, now make a “hell no” list to give them. Tell them any truck that has the “hell no” options will be eliminated immediately.
