do your mirrors flip from horizontal to vertical? I found that out by accident... the salesman didn't even know that.

I'd use the brackets. Those mirrors are heavy. You have to buy the rail nuts too with the bracket.

I have both. I think it's the same part with different numbers.

You have to have the but and bolt for the three empty holes on each side.

Nut - 6

Bolt - 6

The three silver are the bolts from the mirror. The three black are the ones you have to add on each side.

I just called and asked for the brackets for a 2012 2500. Then I called back when I figured out I needed the 6 extra nuts and bolts and they looked it up on the parts diagram. Had to call two dealers. First one said there weren't any brackets. I put on the K2 mirrors.

heres one thing to keep in mind that I had not seen mentioned.

If you have a 2013 with standard mirrors and want tow mirrors, you
*might* have to go with factory, otherwise you will keep getting an error code on the dash because the outside temp sensor is disconnected. (it's on the drivers side mirror on the 2013's).

I have not seen any aftermarket mirrors with the sensor in them yet.

yeah, I had the dealer install em on mine when I bought the truck. and now I have a set of chrome power folding one sitting in some boxes.

when they ordered mine, they had to order straight from factory and not parts as they weren't available yet.
