Hey, Matt long time eh! Gonna order a Crazy Jay soon. Should I hit you up for it or go directly to Inertia. Need a bit more Torque down low. Traded my 34 Foot trailer for a 30 footer that weighs 650 lbs less. To maintain speedlimit 65 with a headwind My truck was running way to hot even with the E-fan. Anyways price on a Crazy Jay (beleive its on a 115 LSA) and a set of the 8 exhaust push rods to go with it (custom forged if ya can get them too) and a 180 Jet. My shipping is T0J 2 N0. This is not a Rush, waiting on my backpay as we just got a 5% raise at work retro 3 years. Please look into this at your leasure. I beleive this cam will behave well with my 2600 TC and come on sooner than the Mopar Cam does (3k). Danny

EDIT: Forgot to say I need it to run ok with or without the SC but probably use the SC still as I do now on 87 tune and 91 tow when towing. (hence 115? ).

It should play ok with the 115, but you never know. I know I ran a 117 on stock PCM for awhile with no issues with more lift and duration.

Yea thats the idea Ken being an 03 and this will be the last Cam swap for Ol Rammie also thinking about gonna go down to a stock 32 tire and have even more fun when I'm not Towing, and Ran that size when I first bought the Truck. Might improve mileage and not look too silly with the 3/4 lift I got. This will be a spring job as I plan on doing a cold garage diff swap on the Magnum this winter as my next mod (Mopar Getrag undecided weather to go 3.73 or 3.91 LSD).

(Ram) My ported TB is toast and thrown in the dumpster ( no more limpe mode) so thinking about another one like a good Moes and while I'm in the front may also price out a belt and underdrive balancer pulley so if you can recommend one of those too that would be appreciated. Another 1k on the Ram is my budget so we'll see how much over I go, LOL. Danny.

Danny, I don't know how I missed this thread. I would just go direct through Stu for the cam. These are all drop shipped from him anyways, so its just easier to let him get you taken care of. You are going to be able to swap these cams in your sleep pretty soon.

I just thought of it and IDK if Stu still has it on file but George ol Rubber Frog ran a 6.1 regrind that has some trq to it and being the wider LSA you wouldnt have an issue (if you still have your 6.1 floating around). I ran a regrind for my first cam because I was dead set again tuning after the PCM fry from a bad tuner and that cam ran untuned for a year and was the same lift and duration as the Spartan but on a 117 LSA with an advanced cam sprocket he sent. The only downside of the regrind is your gonna want the fordged custom cut push rods instad of the 6.1s you have always used. You had an issue with a 113 or 114 LSA cam? And at that time did you try both the stock and ported TB?

Ok, thanks Guys, I'll look into it with Stu. Ken the Ported TB started acting up on the second time the 6.1 was in there so it just went bad on its own and got worse when the Mopar Cam went in, swapped it out for the original and all is fine. I see you guys have a Moe,s for the 03 production so I may contact you later for one of those, TB's since the Truck intakes seem to respond well to this Mod.

Ken, you sold the 117 lsa cam and sprocket set up, correct? Still have my 6.1 STICK?

Just Spoke with Stu and I think I'm Gonna do a Crazy Jay "Plus" on a 112 LSA with Tuning as the Superchips Option cannot unleash the full Potential! With big Torque down Low I shouldn't need to shift past 5850 anyhow and found out I can stack the SC later on if I need to up the RPM Limiter.

So that said I am now in the market for a used Unmarried Predator (DSP U7137) New?? or Used?.
I will sell the Mopar "Drop In" Cam Later on along with the 6.1 AC Version Cam.

Will keep an eye out for an unlocked DSP. If you can swing it the Trinity is a very nice unit and can run a wideband that your gonna need for the CMR tuning.

Can I not just send datalogs in for the tuning like the DSP? I don't know if the Predator is discontinued but some places like Summit have em listed at $229 with free accessories pack worth $30. Pm'd Matt to ask him. Will read more about the Trinity. Thanks.

I was correct in my thinking the DSP was discontinued over a year ago. If it shows in stock in other places either their inventory is way off or its been sitting awhile.
