Hey guys I have a question for you, I have a 2014 1500 RT with the 8 speed tranny. Now when Im driving under low to normal acceleration the truck seems to bog down and seems like it has trouble deciding what gear to be in. my question is will a tuner help this issue, currently only per mods is the S&b intake but wanna go long tubes back. but now just worried about the issue. Any help would be great thanks John

I would definitely start with tuning. Its not normal for an 8sp with 3.92's to feel like it is searching for gears, but the added power and tq management tuning is going to improve the overall responsiveness and drivability of the truck. You will want tuning for the headers anyways, so I would start with the tuning and go from there.

I had the same issues while driving 30-35 mph . Hit the gas and it has trouble between searching for a gear and the mds. Now that i have the tuner it runs Great. The best money spent on the truck.
